Awareness of the EMS
Clause 7.3 of the regulations is in place to certify employees at all levels are not only aware but fully understand the policy.
Each employee is responsible for understanding the significant environmental aspects which are related in actuality or potentially to their specific work. Each employee is must be aware of their attribution to the effectiveness of the EMS. This includes the benefits of enhanced environmental performance and the ramifications of not conforming with the EMS requirements which encompass not fulfilling the organization’s compliance obligations.
