What is ISO 14000?

The ISO 14000 series of standards contain the standard ISO 14001:2004 as the only environmental standard that your organization can be registered to. This standard describes the requirements for an environmental management system. In other words, it is a set of rules which creates a system by which organizations manage their activities that have an influence or a potential influence on the environment.
